Access to Keil Hill Woodland Sites

Site owners have access along the old road at Dalnatrat.  This is now kept private by a locked gate and the right of access forms part of the package.  To simply visit as a member of the public, you will need to access the hill via a footpath that is shown on the map below.

The postcode for the area is PA38 4BW which should get you quite close if you have sat nav. From Glencoe, take the A828 south to Duror Village.  200 metres beyond the small right hand turning to Cuil is Duror cemetery and parking on the right hand side of the road on a stretch of the old road (marked P on the map).  Walk along the grass verge south from the car park around the right hand bend. Cross the road carefully opposite Corragon house. The footpath (red on map below) to Keil Hill goes into the trees at the far end (southern-most corner) of Corragon's garden. Please do not disturb the occupants; the house is not owned by Lochaber Highland Estates. You will require stout boots as the path is steep and soft in places. 

We also have the right of access from the path by the Quarry, which is indicated on the map below by the blue arrow.  You are very welcome to step over the fence by the gate (we keep it locked to prevent unauthorised vehicles accessing Keil Hill).  Personally I prefer this path, you simply need to step over the fence.
